•Hanging out at the Dylan Hotel for Amsterdam Dance Event, dinner with Dave Clarke and company–including the very talented graphic designers responsible for ADE’s sophisticated aesthetic, Maslow, at Japan Inn (where Mr. Clarke has his own chopsticks on site), Dave Clarke’s Uitverkocht party at Melkweg (my absolute favorite named venue on the planet, flyer: right middle) on Friday October 19, 2012. •Dave Clarke’s Demolition Panel with my editor Jim Tremayne of DJ Times, Laidback Luke, DJ Pierre, and others at Felix Meritis (bottom right), drinks with Mr. Clarke and Reid Speed (top right), then Subfocus, Chase and Status, among others at Heineken Musical Hall (where Luke Pritchard from the Kooks‘ image promotes the venue from a display case, bottom middle) and Andrew Weatherall and DJ Harvey back to back at Trouw (those are my curls if you look carefully, bottom left) on Saturday October 20, 2012. •Beth Orton at the El Rey Theatre with her former drummer Wildcat Will on Tuesday October 23, 2012 (top left). •Tourism Ireland event at the Beverly Hilton on Wednesday October 24, 2012 (top middle).
