    Lily, great NPR story today! I worked at and freelanced for Mix/EM mid-80s to early 00s and just had to give a shout to Linda Jacobsen here. She was a senior (managing?) editor there who (with famed Bay area studio owner Cookie Marenco I think) founded an early women’s audio group, Women In Audio or such. The decades blurring my memory, but both Linda and Cookie were powerful leaders back then in this same arena, wouldn’t be surprised to learn they’re both somehow connected to the good groups and great women in your brilliant article, bravo!
