NAMM, National Association Of Music Merchants, been going since 1901 if you can believe that. Every January they have the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center where you can see new products, aging rock stars, and they will check your purse every time you leave the convention hall to make sure you haven’t snatched anything from one of the exhibit booths.
Pictured above: the NAMM show sign, my badge, some shots of the exhibit floor, BT demoing for Izotope, my editor Jim Tremayne posing by his DJ Times booth, a giant poster of Johnny Marr in the Fender showroom and two custom-made Jaguars for Johnny in Fender artist series. I adore Johnny.
Not pictured: Q from Uberzone and his lovely wife whom we saw outside as they were leaving, giant plate of pasta and two baskets of home-baked bread eaten at Pomodoro Trattoria after the show.
Watch BT’s demo for Izotope.
Watch Johnny Marr talk about and play his Fender Jags.
Nice to read your blog
