Post the fabulous yoga retreat at One World Retreats, spent the remainder of spring break in Seminyak, Bali in Indonesia at the idyllic Villa Emma (top left, center). Highly recommend this beautiful home with its gracious host, Debbie (top right on her scooter with me behind her), and her delightful daughter, Riley, along with her wonderful staff, as the place for your headquarters while in Bali. Click “Villa Emma” above for the Air BnB listing.
Besides partaking of the fresh, homemade mie goreng and nasi goreng in the mornings, in the neighborhood there are endless shops, restaurants–we were at Mama San and Earth Cafe often, and spas–our friend Karen runs the luxurious Aspya, the beach walking distance away (background my feet in the sand, bottom left my face on the beach), the beach clubs–we visited Ku De Ta (right center) and Cocoon (bottom center), the temples–I visited Tanah Lot, horseback riding in the waves (top center), general paradise stuff.
Back in Los Angeles, DJ Aphrodite‘s nostalgic drum ‘n’ bass set at Respect on Thursday, April 4, 2013 (bottom right).
