Diego Garcia show at McCabe’s Guitar Shop (the store has performances in the back every weekend for the last 52 years) on Saturday March 3, 2012. Interviewed Diego in 2006 for his former band Elefant‘s second album, The Black Magic Show. I don’t remember him being this funny. He had on his grandpa by day/vampire by night persona. Later he went through a Latin lover/Julio Inglesias phase. Now he’s on the singer/songwriter crooner/joker tip which suits him–although I do miss the vampire.
Pictured above are the faces of Diego Garcia, yes, he is a very good looking chap, and in the middle he is with the missus, Laura, whom his solo album is named after.
Watch the performance style video of “You Were Never There.”
