Running Around Delhi and Amritsar Week Of December 14, 2012
Started traveling around Northern India this past week. So far have made it to Delhi and Amritsar. Seen countless sights already including Raj Ghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Baha’i Temple, Bangla Sahib, Jantar Mantar (all in Delhi) and the Golden Temple and the changing on the flags at the India/Pakistan (where I lived for five years as a child) border (in Amritsar). Since I am my lovely aunt’s guest on this trip, this also means staying in hotels far beyond my means and luxuriating in endless massages, facials, and other spa fun. This is by no stretch of the imagination how I normally live. I am trying not to get used to it.
